Its been 2 months

It's been 2 months since I stopped playing Maple.
Just an update on what's happening...

I've been selected as one of the lucky 5 to participate in the Evan Sneek Peak testing but due to tight schedule and unable to attend in person to KL for the testing in their office, I was put into the consolation prize list winner for this event.

Here is your chance to travel to Korea for free and visit Nexon’s Studio in Seoul!

Starting from 18th November 2009 to 2nd February 2010, we’ll be rewarding players who are playing our newly launched Aran class. Each player will be given different amount of winning chances based on their Aran character’s level range.

How to Qualify
For existing MapleSEA Game Account holders

• Login to your MapleSEA Game Account and start your very own ARAN character.
  Players will have to register for the event at our Asiasoft Passport website.(Sign in to your Asiasoft Passport to register).
• Fill in your details as requested on the registration page (Please input your IGN correctly).
• Once you have confirmed and have registered for the event, there will be a confirmation message. Do wait for the confirmation message before logging out.

For NEW MapleSEA Game Account holders

• Register an Asiasoft Passport Account at https://passport.asiasoft.net/. You may wish to refer to the guide at http://maple.playpark.net/guide/how_to_signup/.
• Login to your MapleSEA Game Account and start your very own ARAN character.
• Players will have to register for the event at our Asiasoft Passport website. (Sign in to your Asiasoft Passport to register).
• Fill in your details as requested on the registration page (Please input your IGN correctly).
• Once you have confirmed and have registered for the event, there will be a confirmation message. Do wait for the confirmation message before logging out.

How to Increase Your Winning Chances
Now, your odds of winning actually lie in your hands, so here’s how you can multiply your chances!

As you can see, your chances of winning increase along with your registered character’s level!
Example
Example 1:
MaplePlayer01 is at Level 1 when the ‘Play Aran and Win a Trip to Korea! Event ends on 2nd Feb 2010:
At this level, he already holds 1 winning chance.

Scenario A:
MaplePlayer01 reaches Level 25 when the Event ends on 2nd Feb 2010. He will have:
1 + 2 = 3 winning chances.

Scenario B:
MaplePlayer01 reaches Level 55 when the Event ends on 2nd Feb 2010. He will have:
1 + 2 + 3 = 6 winning chances.

Scenario C:
MaplePlayer01 reaches Level 85 when the Event ends on 2nd Feb 2010. He will have:
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10 winning chances.

Now don’t fret if the above scenarios sound confusing to you. Just remember that the higher your character’s level is, the higher your chance of winning!

Event Details

• Event will start from 18th Nov 2009 to 2nd Feb 2010.
• 1 MapleSEA Game Account ID is allowed to register once.
• The results will be announced 5-8 working days from 2nd Feb 2010.

Terms and Conditions

• All winners of the event will be required to perform an Identity Verification in order to collect the prize.
• This event is open for players residing in Singapore and Malaysia.
• If the drawn winner is unable to verify his/her Asiasoft passport account within 7 days of the result, a re-draw will be conducted
• Prize will be forfeited if the re-drawn winner is unable to verify his/her Asiasoft passport account.
• Asiasoft reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, and to suspend, terminate or vary the event prizes with or without prior notice.
• Asiasoft’s decision on all matters relating to the draws shall be final, binding and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.

I'll be blogging about my maple life in Maple SEA... (the happy and not so happy things while mapling).

Started to play this game since last year and since then, will play whenever I'm free.
It is a cute game with cute characters... despite there are some issues happening recently...

Anyhow, this is an interesting MMORPG game which attracts not only the kids, but also adults I would say.
